Chanel Rare Vintage White Medium Quilted Lambskin Classic Double Flap Bag with 24k Gold Hardware Series 1 (1989-1991)

This very rare vintage piece is the Chanel White Medium Classic Double Flap, crafted from exceptionally soft, diamond-quilted "Agneau Blanc" (white lambskin). It features the iconic 24k gold-plated hardware: the CC turn-lock and the chain strap, interwoven with leather. The white is the highly desirable “bright white” from the series 1 (1989-1991) collection, although it is almost but not quite as white as the bright white bags of today. The double strap enables hand or shoulder carry. The classic double-flap design includes a primary exterior flap and a secondary interior flap that opens to a matching white leather interior with multiple slip pockets. A hidden "love letter" zippered compartment is located inside the top flap. This vintage bag interior is in excellent condition. The timeless silhouette of this vintage classic handbag is completed by the signature "smile" pocket on the back. This is a bag that can go from day to evening, offering a perfect blend of high-end craftsmanship and functional elegance.
