This Chanel vintage flap bag, from Karl Lagerfeld's 2000-2002 (6 series) collection, is crafted from glazed black calfskin leather featuring the iconic square “Chocolate Bar” quilting, highlighted with beige contrast topstitching. The structured rectangular silhouette is outlined in smooth beige leather piped borders along the edges, contoured front flap, and rear exterior slip pocket. The front flap secures with a rectangular brushed matte 24-k gold plated Mademoiselle Reissue turn-lock closure, engraved with "CHANEL." This “chocolate bar” bag is suspended from a single beige leather-interwoven 24-K gold-plated chain shoulder strap. The interior is lined in durable black grosgrain fabric equipped with a zippered pocket with “CHANEL-labeled zipper pull, and a stitched black leather brand patch stamped with gold-foil "CHANEL MADE IN ITALY" lettering.

This bag is in excellent preowned condition and will come with a black Chanel dust bag. Chanel produced the Chocolate Bar frame flap in a couple of distinct size variations during the 6-series: this bag is the smaller, elongated "east-west" profile.
