Chanel Rare Slate Gray-Blue Quilted Sueded Caviar Jumbo Classic Double Flap Bag

A rare collector’s variation produced in strictly limited runs during Karl Lagerfeld’s 2012–2013 collection, this authentic Chanel Classic Jumbo Double Flap reimagines the Maison’s iconic silhouette in tactile sueded caviar leather. Buffed to a velvety, nubuck-like matte nap while preserving the pebbled grain texture of traditional caviar hide, the bag is finished in an elusive, sophisticated shade of slate grayish-blue. The exterior features classic diamond quilting accented by bright silver-tone metal hardware, anchored by the signature interlocking CC turnlock and an interwoven leather-and-chain strap that smoothly transitions between double chain (shoulder) and single chain (crossbody) lengths. Opening past the outer and inner flaps reveals a tonal smooth leather-lined interior appointed with dual slip pockets, lipstick compartment, "love letter" zippered flap pocket, and large stitched CC emblem.

This very rare Chanel Jumbo Double Flap is in excellent condition. The interior corner seam retains its authentic 8-digit serial sticker dating production to 2012–2013 (17-series). I can find no others online in this color and condition. This beautiful bag comes as a full set with a Chanel box and dust bag.
